Cian woke up earlier than she intended. Surprisingly energized despite the endless rounds of drinks she and Renee ingested courtesy of their long lost friend. He’d kept his distance as they played the staring game until she broke their gaze by allowing her eyes to trail to the floor. When they met again, he smiled, a perfectly white sexy smile with a quick wink, backing away and retreating up the stairs to what was said to be an office. “The boss…” She whispered, easing off the bed with a sudden taste for strong coffee.

The cool linoleum underneath her feet sealed the deal, awakening her fully as she peeled open the bag of coffee grounds and filled the pot. “6:32…” She read the time on the microwave as she rested her back on the cool surface of the refrigerator. Crossing her arms, she imagined being in his. A tight grip around her body as she gazed into those deep green eyes that she’d missed for fifteen years. The coffee machine beeped, jolting her from what she quickly thought of as a ridiculous fantasy.

She placed her cup and saucer on the edge of the unpolished wood coffee table as she worked a comfortable grove into the love seat. The pillows behind her clung to the curve of her back causing her to revisit her previous thoughts. “Snap out of it, Cee!” She palmed her face, tightly closing her eyes as if it would erase him from her thoughts.

Like a flash of light, she jumped off of the sofa abandoning her coffee and took quick strides into her tiny studio. The canvas was her outlet. Her way of speaking without words, conveying what she felt and what longed for. This too reminded her of him. How they’d stood there and said nothing but most likely thought the same thing. Wanted the same thing.

Cian exhaled deeply and ended with a smile as she allowed the perfect song lyrics that expressed her feelings and the events of the night before to guide her with each brush stroke.

"Baby ain't nothin' wrong with the love
That you and I dream of
So sweet
Your eyes can say more than your lips can speak

My friends say that they just can't see
How a love unspoken can be so deep
And every time that you look my way
I see
What your heart wants to say to me...
"
----

Her voice trailed off as she took in the sight before her. She knew with every fiber of her being that this path she was on would lead her to feelings she wasn't supposed to have. Feelings that were already trying to build a home inside of her heart as she stood, mesmerized by those long lost pair of eyes.

**I'm tired, sick, and not happy with this at all but I had the shots and didn't want to waste them. Enjoy.

Thank you everyone!

Val: For some reason I felt like she looked crazy for going through these motions so soon. That's why I am uneasy about this one. Thanks! I loved that one shot also!

Karima: I reallly didn't mean for it to be short but I'd been working on it since 8 p.m and didn't finish until 1 a.m so I had to end it. Never fear, I'll be working on the next prompt asap. Sick or not!

Chicago: Thanks!

I love the writing! I love every single thing about this! The way Cian looks at the clock. Every reaction is on point. Remembering. Imagining. Finding a way to channel her emotion so she doesn't do what she does not want to do.

I wish you would use larger shots. They are so beautiful.

Thank you! I have no clue why they come out so small! Maybe I need to try and upload them then add them add? When I size them, I make the width 600. I wonder why they come out so small!

Absolutely beautiful, not too short and perfectly showing their connection and his effect on Cian.

This was wonderful, Qui! How you capture just the right look on Cee's face to match her thoughts blows me away!

I'm dying to see this come together, and if Cee's selling them, I'd like to purchase the canvas she's working on! Lol!

Qui, make sure you have the pics setting in game set for the largest, or if you use a screen print program make sure it does not resize the photos automatically.

I found out the other day that blogger automatically resizes. If I go in html and maunally change the width and height I can get that to game size.

Thanks. I going to double check my game settings.

Nothing like the sight of a sexy sim man! I loved how you conveyed her emotions...though soon it would seem...but such is life it happens to do that to you.
