For the second morning in a row, Cian woke up alone. Wilson’s side of the bed was cold and untouched and traces of him being in their bedroom were minimal. 

5. Differences

For it to be early fall, the weather was a lot warm than expected. The sun beamed down from its highest point bringing with it hot rays that made it feel more like summer.

4. The Hold Out

A long hot bath and two short stories was all it took for Cillian to fall asleep. Wilson backed out of the room slowly, pulling Cillian’s door to as he exited with a small prayer that he wouldn’t awaken until morning.
